I’m not one for short posts, but I think it’s worth highlighting Speed Demos Archive‘s ongoing ‘Summer Games Done Quick’ event while it’s still going strong. For the next three days, some of the world’s best runners will be live streaming back-to-back speedruns of games new, classic, and not-so-classic to gather donations for Doctors Without Borders. At the time of writing, they’ve raised $87,000; hopefully on track to beat the $448, 000 they raised for the Prevent Cancer Foundation in January’s ‘Awesome Games Done Quick‘ event, and well above the $45,000 raised last year. Chip in what you can, if you can – or just spam their Twitch page with FrankerZ emotes. I won’t judge.
